Here in NY, It’s almost back to school time which means back to chaos, backpacks full of homework, and crazy schedules! My kids have grown up and their school days are over but I sure remember the struggle to keep everyone organized and keep track of various activities. Even now as an empty nester keeping the stacks of incoming mail and paperwork is a constant battle. So, its time to create a command center!

After seeing all of these great ideas I found some simple items to get my command center started, and some things you might want to add to yours.
I love this 2017-2018 calendar because it looks like a chalkboard and also comes with a grocery list!
Then I would add a place for papers, whether it’s kids papers from school or your bills and mail. I love this industrial hanging basket to go with the calendar.I like the idea of adding a corkboard to tack up any papers that need attention, or to recognize family accomplishments! You could put up the school lunch menu, bus schedule, activities calendar and sports schedules.
